atm from the way the planets are changing hands no clan is even close to being able to invade a HQ planet, so not sure if this is a valid final goal atm, we may need to make it easier to invade it, or we could say 1st clan to do so wins the entire war. I'm sure everyone ahs their own ideas of how we can improve the war (beyond getting the whole thing automated) so lets get them up here so we can think about them.
One idea i ahd is scrap the capturing the hq as how you win but instead do it on points taht you gain for every enemy starting planet you own. With maybve a large nubmer of points if u manage to grab a hq, maybe kocking out the clan taht lost it completely.
Another idea could be you invade systems not planets, with the invasion cost depending on the nubmer of planets in the system. Each clan has to send enough players for there to be 1 for each planet, then the attackers picks which player atttacks which planet in the system, then the defender picks which players defend which ones, the 1st clan to win over 50% of the fights gains the entire system. With a 50/50 split going to the defender.
Anotehr idea is for the defending clan ahving to assign a defender before knowing who the invading player is. This could help stop Morton's remark aobut the same ppl playing each other over and over because they are of similar skill levels.
