Yes I know, you're getting sick hearing from me about my scenario fettish :D. The moderators are going to ban me out of annoyance pretty soon. Until then, here's a hard one:

Basically, you are in a bad spot, and only have one turn to make it better. You have a variety of units, and you need to use every one of them in the first round to try to take an enemy ally. If you fail in the first round, the enemy will have reinforcements, and will walk all over you.

If any of you have ever played the Magic card game, you know that there are as many rules as there are different card types. I based this scenario off a magazine that made Magic puzzles: You would see a specific layout of cards, and you would try to figure out how to kill the opponent this turn. They could be quite difficult. Same idea here. You have to figure out how to manuever your units to kill all the enemies in a territory this turn.

Edit...
I revised this scenario... the new version can be found further in this thread.

Greetings Maelstrom!

It was a lovely scenario indeed, I can hardly imagine moderators to ban you for creating such a good staff for Massive Assault

BUt please tell me how much time you spent balancing it? :-?

I have to confess it took me roughly about two hours to complete that scenario and it is REALLY hard! I had to save several time and make a trick capturing Arriban with empty transport - otherwise I could hardly win.

I was lucky enough you didn't put capturing Pantherberg as a victory condition. That last battleship could make a serious damage on units creeping through the forest towards the capital.

Anyway, thanks for a couple hours of extremely challenging gaming! :)

Kolyan.

Note: If you want the challenge of the level, don't look at Nick_WN's replay until you're sure you can't beat it :D Glad to see it is still beatable after my last few changes though. I never had a chance to test them (enemy units at your back door)... just wanted to make Sure you couldn't beat the level without making a fully accurate first turn...

Not a lot unfortunately - I was time constrained but still wanted to get it out. I played it through before the back door units and it was way too easy, easy enough you could prolly beat it without taking the enemy ally. The main point was to force you to make a perfect first turn. After that it was pure brutal action ;)

I updated this scenario so that the endgame is a lot easier. The focus of it is pretty much the first round anyways, so the rest of the battle shouldn't be so difficult. I'll post a replay of my victory as well.
