We've already made such a feature, just type "\color 0xRRGGBB" where RRGGBB - components of red, green and blue, accordingly.

I don't know whether it's in the works or not, but it would be nice to have the ability to select the color of your text in chat. It could also be used as a subscription incentive by restricting the color choices of trial users (or not giving them a choice at all). |

Agreed, especially because at the moment my chat text color (and that of everyone else's) seem to be random, and many of them are clashing or so bright that I have trouble reading them clearly. Good point about having the color choice be an incentive to subscribe by making it a subscription-only option... |

How does that color text thing work or do you have to be a subscriber that it really works ?
