I'm about sick and tired of getting points when I lose. There's something very charity and insulting about it. Just wondering if anyone else felt the same... |

The normal standings are a measure of experience. When you lose, you get experience, hence, you gain pointspoints. If you want another sort of rating, check out the alternate ratings or the Glicko ratings |

But do you really gain more experience from being decimated in fives turns by a Marshal than you would testing news plans and strategies over twenty turns with a Major? |

The system gives the same amount of experience points for either case. Personally, I gain more knowledge and understanding from the 20 turns with the Major vs the 5 turns with the Marshal. However, that being said, both scenarios show me my blantantly stupid errors that lead to my horrendous defeats. |

Beating the Major gives more experience, and also gives more points than losing at any rank. Like I said, if you don't like the regular standings, just ignore them and use one of the other two instead. |
