Hi peeps ive read a couple of references to new units for each side... is this a rumour made of cheese or a figment of reality to come?

Oh ok, thanks for the link. so its not massive assault network then, i see. id have mixed feelings about that... this is a wonderfull game at the moment.... id hate to see it messed up. I really would not like to see any sort of super weapon in the game, ala C&C's scud storm or particle cannon, that would layer this wonderfully strategic game with cheese.

Ok maybe the single player version needs spicing up a bit; i dont know, but against peope i certainly dont want trivial things like that. i want chess!

Maybe some of the new units will be interesting. The two shot per unit i had already thought was an option but hadnt decided whether it was a good one or not. im not over keen on the anti air defences but then we'll see how it pans out. I suspect they will consider releasing similar units to the network version too.

Thanks for the heads up, three seven.

No problem. I for one can't wait for the new game, PL has transport helicopters. Can you imagine dropping some Ostriches behind the enemy line to slice up their artillery? Whole new tactics will have to be developed.

from what i know, PR will be compatibel with MAN so i don't think we're gonna have to wait for an updated MAN
