We’d like to know what you think about new time-limit option for game in MAN.
Now time-limit count time from moment of sending opponent’s turn (every time from 0) and you have 1, 3, 7 or 14 day for each turn.
“Chess clock” should sum time of each your turn (time from sending opponent’s turn until you send your turn).
For example, you will have 14 days for all your turns, you can send the first turn after 10 days, but for all your other turns in this game you will have just 4 days.
It could be very useful for tournament game with fixed time for each round. For example, if both players have 14 days for their turn, it will be total 28 days and new round could be started every month.

This is essential for running tournaments in a timely manner - it has taken far too long for this to be implemented already.

This was suggested a long time ago and I am pleased that it is now being considered.

I think it is very important for long-running tournaments and vital for keeping people's interest in Clan War games.

I agree that this would definately be beneficial (something we've been calling for for a long time for Clan Wars).

I would suggest having a per-turn value in addition to the total time value: If you have 14 days total to do all your turns, what would happen if the game lasted 30 or 40 turns? At that point, the likelihood is that you will be forced to conserve extra time for that possiblity.

So as a modification to this plan, you can add a per-turn value... every time you are given a turn, you are given a specified number of days to the total time you have left. This is the best of both worlds, allowing for flexibility, but also for the chance a game might go long. So for example, you could have a 10 day game with 2 days added to your pool per turn. Basically, it would be like having a 2 day turn limit in MAN's current definition, with 10 extra days in a pool to be used when you need extra time. If you squander those days early, then you will be forced to play every other day, but that seems totally fair to me.

I'd still be playing if this had been implemented a year ago.

It could be a good thing for tournaments & CW

A question : What about when time limit is over

1) Automatic and total defeat of the player

2) Player totally defeated only when the opponent has lose his patience
so he press on the magic finish button.....

I'd think with a system like this it'd be fair to just automatically end the game, as long as it did a really good job of indicating how much time you have left.

Only reason finishing is problematic now is because the current time limits are so inflexible. You play reasonably fast the whole game, but then for whatever reason you get behind suddenly its game over.

Is a good idea for Clan War and Tournaments.

It be nice to end as guderian27 said in "1) Automatic and total defeat of the player", but it better to secure that some games are unending and for those it be fair give an extra time.

And secure also the games that are buged (end in draw isn't good).
