Beta version of new patch is ready.

This is W. European version ONLY!!!

GMX Media (english):
http://www.massiveassault.com/download/ ... .0.191.exe

The patch for Matrix Games version is unavailable yet: it takes some time for Matrix Games to implement copy protection. So Americans should not download this W.European version of patch because it will corrupt the game.

If you experience any problem, you may run ma_orig.exe (which is made by patch copy of original ma.exe). Also you may copy your working ma.exe to some safe place, for example, to safe_ma.exe.

I would recommend you to play tournament games with version 1.0.190 known as the first patch. So, it is another case for which you may use safe_ma.exe made as descrived above.

Please, report here if the patch works correct or not.

I posted this in the Support Forum, but haven't gotten a response thus far. Well this new patch address the issue of game freezes?

I had been running MA perfectly fine for 2 months pre-patch. After installing the American version of the patch 2 nights ago the game becomes unplayable after about 30-40 minutes of play. It begins with random "freezes" every few minutes that last about 10-20 seconds. The longer you play, the more frequent and longer the freezes get until you can't play at all.

Anyway, I'm going to completely re-install the game tonight WITHOUT the patch so that I can enjoy it again. :)

Does 6.2 include the new bug of the game locking up every few minutes and getting progressively worse introduced in the last patch?

I hope so. The issue you mentioned is what we tried to resolve. We cannot repeat this bug, but we have changed something to kill this ghost. The game works faster and smoother now.

Vano - I'm practically drooling. Rewind during replays I see as critical, is this planned for a future patch? Or maybe this patch but you forgot to list it?

ChromaTick - I haven't had any runtime difficulties with the game. Do you meet the specs and have the latest video and sound drivers installed? You might want to detail exactly what is happening and share that and your system specs with the developers.

Brashen - backward/forward feature in replays is not implemented yet, but it is in our minds and in our plans. Thank you for good idea.

ChromaTick - I've answered you in Support thread.

Brashen: I'd be more than glad to share my system and specs, but I definitely meet the requirements. Everything worked fine before I installed the patch. Ran smooth as butter. :) I'll just play pre-patch until the next one comes out.

VaNO: Thanks for the feedback. I hope this does the trick.

At first glance evrything seams to work fine.

The extra info is helpful on the Current Games screen and so is the ability to sort the games in different ways.

It's not quite so easy to see who the game is against, but I guess that the new format will take a bit of getting used to.

Number of win and losses is nice to see, but is there any way of seeing what your opponents stats are?

Any chance of putting an extra column in the Select opponents box?

I'll play a few turns and see how we get on.

I have quite a few games where I'm waiting for my opponent to play their turn and the time limit is up.

Will these games be finish automatically, or will there be another clear up at some stage?

Seems like it would be a server-side update. I believe auto-finish will be turned on after the patch will be released to everyone.

Oh, I like the new click to remove a deployed unit. Very nice and much quicker than before. Saves a lot of backwards and forwards.

Good job guys!
