Well, all maudlin crap from traj aside (and I ordered it online, so good for me I guess), I'm just going to say what I've thought all along, and thankfully seems to be the case, is that if they make some costly MAN thing, thats fine, good for them. I won't buy it. Thats how the capitalist system works.
And thankfully it seems they aren't adding extra costs the MA I already paid for. That would stink if they did.
The main worry that I had/have is that MAN would be essential to keep playing MA, which would then require me to pay extra fees for something I already bought.

My opinion is half based on the reality of the situation that I'm not rich, and half based on the principle of the matter.

I am kind of new to the whole forum thing. I have been gaming for probably 20 years. I am a fan of MA and applaud the gmaes creators. I am a little disappointed to see the game moving in a 'pay to play' direction. I generally do not buy games that require monthly fees. I dont mind paying for expansions if the content is there but to put out a monthly fee for a game i have alraedy paid for bothers me. This is just my 2 cents.. i love this game.

I am not sure this comment belongs here but i would love to see a map editor released for the game.. it would enhance the communnity and allow for some greatly increased variety.

I don't see what's wrong with the proposed system... if you have the original MA, stick with the ghetto multiplayer, if you want MAN play that, and 5 dollars a month seems emminently reasonable. It's the cost of a book or movie per month, and it lasts a lot longer.

Then again, I live in Seattle, where saving five bucks is also referred to as 'skipping coffee for a day'
