this is the latest strategy game to take my interest and currently has me hooked, it's one of those games where you log in for abit then log off and things carry on building/mining/moving while you are logged off. It gives you a 10 day free trial (which you can easily reinstall and do again) http://www.nicelycrafted.com/todc/ If anyone gets involved i'm in game 5 so if you happen to get into game 5 give me a shout. |

I was also hooked by one game similar to this for 3-4 months. I've spent some time building up and was in the top-10 players (out of 5k) by the end of second month. Then our clan became involved in a 3 to 4 war (7 clans - more than 3k players total). Every time I logged in I had 50+ incoming enemy groups on my domain and I had to address them all. Luckily it happened on cristmas holidays because my sleeping schedule was brocken entirely into frequent small pieces. In 4 days I gave my password to the head of our clan and quit. I've seen this game, but it can be played only in peaceful build-up style. War is tedious and tiresome. |

yes does seem quite slowed paced but not knowing what i was doing i spent most my starting resources on military ships and defences instead of resource gathering units. Seems that the best thing todo in combat is hit weak areas as u can capture non military ships. Each map has i think it's 100 players so battles are on a smaller scale |

u can just enter a fake email address and iit works (i have 2 accounts on my 2 computers, 1 using a made up email) |

ok, im in but bored... maybe cause i dont really know what im doing. ive figured out a bit of this and a bit of that, i destroyed the practise ships ok. But all i see is now i gotta mine and buy more units and so on but it doesnt inspire me. However, thanks for the tip anyway. |
