As we have found from the team tournament and now the clan war, time limits are necessary to keep this game moving. The problem is when someone is out of town, etc, and can't make their limit, sometimes the message doesn't get out for any of a number of reasons.

So it would be nice if Tournament Moderators could make certain players/and or games immune to timeouts for a certain period of time. That way the moderators can make sure that people leaving town/etc can't lose due to someone missing their messages. This can remove some confusion from the opponents as well, those that don't really want to time out somebody if they don't have to. When the game is protected from timeouts, it can let the opponents know (maybe even just from MAN).

I understand it would require a game update for this, but wanted to bring it up in case its not too late to put something like this in MA:PR. I think something like this would remove a lot of the headaches that players and moderators have had in the last couple time-limited tournaments.

With this and the chess clock that has been discussed plentifully in the Team tourney thread, I think the game would be even more suited to the Clan/Tournament play in which it thrives. If a chess clock were implemented, the timeout immunity could just stop the countdown of the chess clock for that player temporarily.
