Argh, I'm still waitin to get myself a copy of this game!

But out of curiosity, just how big is the community itself?
I hate buying a game that has a community so small that it just dies out after a couple months. Thats happened a lot with games that were otherwise great (Moonbase Commander comes to mind).

Any rough estimates?

Definitely it will not die at least six monthes, and I almost sure that a year is not a period. Wargaming.net is going to pay a lot of attention to communtity. You will hear some news/press-release about it in a week or two.

Ahaaaaw :)

I'm guessing that this is an addition to content! Usually extra free content can keep a game alive way longer than expected. Thats why Total Annihilation had die-hard fans for so many years, and still does.

Especially when its free :D

Just please, pleease don't make an expensive expansion pack. Nobody loves a 40 dollar expansion pack. That will hurt the community more than help.

Free additional content like new maps (planets) is needless to say. Of course, it will take place some time. But some greater event is coming which should bring a lot of new people to Massive Assault online community.

I can live with pay to play expansions, but not the $40 "here's a few units" type. I'd say do it something like Xbox MechAssault, where you get two units and two maps for around $5. I mean, free is better, but developers have to be paid back for the time they spend on expansions.

Yeah TA rocks. I sure love how that generous guy/gal Quitch runs that AI Central place that provides superior AIs for the game... ;)
