I will set all of his games to 14 day limits, just to make sure. I will need to know as soon as he can play again.

I don't have a problem giving either of these people the extra time, but did want to point out the official time out rule.

Artanis said,
Quote:
Some questions have come up recently regarding the timeout policy for the clan war, so I decided to outline the policy for the Orion War here.

To be blunt, I will not officially enforce requests for extra time...a timeout win will be just as much a win as a surrender or a balance victory. This is for two reasons: 1) to keep me from being stressed to the point of being unable to run the war, and 2) to keep the war moving by preventing abuse.

However, I do realize that shit happens that makes you unable to play for a while, and that timeouts will tend to cause bad blood no matter how justified. So, I will do this: if a player (or his clan) asks me to send out a message to his opponents asking for more time, I'll use the tournament manager to do so.

The vast majority of MA players are examples of good sportsmanship, and will probably honor a request for a reasonable delay. Those who ignore such a request will get their win, but I think that they will find themselves - and possibly their entire clan - more likely to be timed out by their opponents.

I think that this is an area where the players themselves are the best enforcers, but if it turns out I'm wrong...well, this is a beta test, after all, and the rules can easily be changed to something that works.

Artanis is probably busy with school, getting ready or taking finals. Or he is done, has been partying constantly and is trying to recover from a hangover.

Artanis is away over christmas, there won't be any updates for at least a week due to most people being unable to play man or update the wars.

Orion War shall continue! I will be the moderator for it with two other new moderators to back me up in case I'm unable to update the war.

Clan Leaders: We will continue war on Monday when I'll update the map and clan moneys. New orders will be accepted from Monday to Thursday (noon at GMT).

There will be quite a lot finished games (only 4 games is still in process), so I expect to see lots of changes on the map.

So be ready. :)

I have update the Orion War!

There were lots of changes on the map so study it carefully and send me the new orders by the Thursday noon.

4 new battles between two attacker clan were created on SE1 which became neutral after the defender of that country died.

If you find any errors on map please tell me. :)

I have one question: if in the less turn rule the nomber of turns is the same, who wins?

Thank you, bye.

Actually, least turns isn't the same as for other places... in the case of the wars this is how it works:

If one player has more than one battle for the same system, and that player loses any of his battles, then any battle that goes After that turn will not count and be considered a draw.

So in the case that a player has two games finish in the same turn, losing one and winning one, then that player will successfully destroy the army in the game he won, and be destroyed in the game he lost, simultaneously.
