well to use glyco rating using only some planet would be logical if :

1) only planet used for clan war battle are used for calculating.
for instance if Bizarria is used, glyco should use Bizzaria Battle...
in fact level of players depends on many things but also of the size of the planet and there is some planet you usualy play more often and like better.

2) glyco is based on battle with all player of MAN or MA, it could be used in a few turns using only battle of 2nd clan war. it could be more acurate (even if there aren't many battle for the moments)

a new comers would have glyco classical rates up to 10 clan war battle for instance.

The Glicko rating is perhaps the most accurate of the methods we've used, but it requires a lot of games to be accurate. This is why we only use certain maps, maps where most people have played enough games to make the rating more accurate.

That is also the reason we wouldn't want to use the glicko rating based only on games from one particular War/Tournament.

As far as I know, glicko rating is used in Clan War to determine ABSOLUTE player's SKILL. That's why ALL battles are calculated and It is NOT limited to Clan War battles. You can play friendly battles with other players and take part in various tournaments beside Clan War. All these battles determine your skill.

yes your are true both :

1) glyco needs many battles to be acurate but so many are needs that i think there aren't many rates acurate...

2) global skill is true but that would say you had roughtly the same glyco on each map. this would say also that everybody plays as good tactical as strategical... so good on small and big map... and you are as good in attack and in defense.
and all map aren't taken for calculate.

so to calculate only battle we fight on should be considered.

if i take your bizzaria glyco to have an idea on you skill in wasserland i'm not sure to be correct

this principes is the middle rate that is not acurate...
just have a look on my glyco rating... i can have from 1300 to 2000 ! depending on the map or side..

3) i know it's very difficult to find an acurate rating...

The thing about glickos for the clan war is that (currently), it's essentially impossible to predict where somebody will play. The higher a person's average glicko, the more likely that person is to have a high glicko on a randomly chosen map.
