I have defeated the AI on Impossible setting on Switzerland (huge map).

Does anyone know the most challenging settings. Does starting the map with less or more of SA's help the computer more. I am not sure because those settings affect both me and the computer.

Also does making the cities "produce" for a greater number of turns or shorter help the computer more. Thanks for your help in advance!

Probably the starting position affects this. In any case, the map should be compact, the open terrain is better too.

I had most difficult battle with AI on Station Thorn when playing Career.

Tips. Hard to say because it depends on the situation. However, it is useful to use your missile launcher on the back of the hover transport. Hit em from range over and over and put fodder on the front lines. Do not let your missile launchers come under attack if at all possible. if the enemy attacks a far flung region that you can't possibly hold use the guerilla build points to make helicopters or bombers and pull them back to your bases to support your own territories. just leave 1 turret in a corner of the province or in the city itself to delay them for a few turns. If you get a chance to kill an expensive unit i.e missile launcher with your guerilla troops take that shot instead.
