I'm currently trying the demo for Massive Assault (via WildTangent), which is a neat little beer & pretzel turn-based strategy game. I've found other versions of this game, and was hoping someone could shed some light as to how all the following differ from one another:

Galactic Assault
Domination
Massive Assault Network 1
Massive Assault Network 2

I've done a bit of searching, and the results don't really help in determining whether these are all different games, or simply the same product with update multiplayer capabilities. Anyone have a clue?

Massive Assault Network 1
Domination (Massive Assault Phantom Renaissance)
Massive Assault Network 2

Servers for MAN1 and Domination are down.
The only multiplayer game is MAN2.

Galactic Assault is other kind of game.

Thanks for helping. So if I didn't like multiplayer, and just wanted single vs the AI, what would be best to get if I am playing the original MA right now? Should I get MANetwork 2 after the original, or are they really the same single player campaign?

before you decide, perhaps it would be best to find out what you consider to be "multi player"? With Massive assault network, the best turn based game in my opinion, there really is no multi player option. You either play games against the AI or you play games against a real opponent. Either way, there is no option for more than you and 1 opponent, you just have a choice of either a computer opponent or a live person. The game plays the same, the maps are the same and the units available are the same. The big difference is: you will soon learn how to beat the AI, so those type of games will become boring quite fast unless you get a lot of satisfaction beating up on a computer program. A real opponent will prove much more challenging, give you much more interesting game play and provide a platform for your own game play to improve far beyond anything you can learn from playing the AI
