Hi,

For some bug at the system, the glicko-points than appears associated to every player in the tournament list at web are not real.

In the swiss system game mode the initial order (by glicko) is the key for to do the pairing games.

Therefore, before to start the tournament, will be published here in forum the list of players ordered by glicko.

The glicko than will appears in that list will be the player's glicko at the time of inscription.

Bye,

Important information for the players of this tournament:

As the map is large, we ask the players that when the situation is completely hopeless for one of them, surrender or at least leave time is up. (If you don't like surrender).

In this tournament mode, the number of turns played in won games or lost games is not important for the classification.

This request stems from the fact that in the Swiss system can not start the next round of games without completing all of the current round.

For example, 30 players waiting for a long time to finish a single game fully determined not help the tournament dynamic.

Therefore, in extreme cases, moderators may finalize these games.

We are not asking the players to move quickly. Simply to avoid that the time between rounds can be excessive.

We hope the understanding and support of the participants about this point.

Best Regards,

Happy new year!!!

As some players of this tournament don't play usually MAN2 tournaments, we will try to explain them how the time limit works.

When the game start each player has 7 days and 23 hours in his side. If the time ends you lose the game. When the opponent move, you have 23 hours before your time start to decrease.

For example, If you do your move 1 day and 4 hours after your opponent's move your time will decrease 5 hours (difference between 23 hours and 1 day, 4 hours), but you still have 23 hours without decrease after each opponent's move. These 23 hours are never lost.

We think important to clarify all doubts about the mechanics of the tournament.

List of players and pairing games

The January 9 registration period ends and we will publish here in the forum the list of players ordered by the glicko in the time of inscription (it will not be the real glicko). That order will be used as reference for all the rounds, i.e., it will not change even though the real glicko is very different actually.

We will publish too the pairing games of the round 1, for knowledge of the players. (training, watch replays of opponent, etc...) :D

During the afternoon or evening of Friday 10, games will be created.

Only a week!!!
