New tournament published in MAN2 website.

Map: Aurora

Swiss system mode. (you can read a little description of this system inside the tournament's rules)

No limitation by glicko. Can take part in this tournament all the registered players.

Number of rounds will be conditional to player's number.

The information about the progress of this tournament will be published here in forum (ordered list of players by the glicko at time of inscription, pairing games of the rounds, etc...).

The subscription period will end on March 5 and the start of the tournament will be on March 7.

It will be fun! :D

Hi,

We want to do some comments about this tournament's game system mode:

1.- The number of turns in won or lost games is not important for the tie-break rules. Not lengthen the games fully defined will help the tournament dynamics. In that situation, you can surrender or let the time run out.

2.- The glicko than will appear in the ordered list of players than will be published here in forum on March 5 will be the glicko at time of inscription. Therefore, it could be very different from the current glicko. That published glicko will be the reference for all the rounds in terms of "player's ranking".

Only one week left!

Tomorrow, March 5 will be published the ordered list of players by glicko-points score and the pairing games of the round 1.

Finally, the glicko than will appears in that list is the current glicko at the end of the registration period.

This change implies more work for the moderator (when a player was inscribed, was included in the software used for manage the Swiss system his/her nickname and glicko), but I understand that the situation is fairer for all.

Remember than you have almost 2 days for training and watch replays of your opponent. 8)

The start of Aurora Open will be on Friday March 7.

Hi,

I have not received any message after the consultation to all players about the participation of the player "Goo" in this tournament when the subscription period was over.

Therefore, I have included his name in the list of players. To avoid an odd number of players, I have included too other player that I had in the reserve ("OBM").

Here is the new ordered list of players and the pairing games of the round 1.

I hope no more changes about this!

Good luck!
