If this was discussed before, i probably missed it, but what was the rational behind reducing the movement of amphibs from 3 to 2? The 3 movement made amphibs the only unit that could be chain transported into battle and, in the hands of skilled players, changed them from being not really worth the cost to something to be feared. You really had to watch the map when amphibs and transports were in play. I, for one, think this was a step backward. Any chance the movement will be changed back to 3 in the final version?

Perhaps i spoke too soon, since i have not tried any amphibs in a man2 game but when you go over the list of unit options and click on the amphibs (either side) it shows them as having just movement points. It is possible that i did not read it right so i will go back and recheck.

like i said, i have not tried them in a man2 game, but if you go to the man2 page and click on the unit tab, it lists the amphibs and tritons as being able to only move 2 units.

For what it's worth, they have 3 movement points in the game. I just finished some games where I built and used them in conjuction with naval fleets.

.....excuse me....where is the guy who is supposed to come along and tell me to move along, as this is getting way off topic...?...But I love amphibians....they are arguably a "most valuable" unit type....(of course it's arguable)
