Very true, I don't doubt about sacrifising a couple of units to destroy a full loaded naval transport thing.

Sometimes the "victim transport" is so far away from any of my units that I don't even see the possibility til I've placed my last recruit....and then hit ALT and REWIND together to pop back in time....which, before I knew this, would take lots time for impatient 21st century man who nevertheless wanted to win! KNow what I'm sane? 8)
