Been playing this game for years and never had problems changing camera view/angle with the mouse, even with Vista. Since a patch or two back the only way I could change my view of the map was to move the mouse cursor to the side or top/bottom. Whatever angle the camera was at at the start of the turn (never the same) was what I had to live with. Tried changing settings but no luck and have gone through several mice but nothing changes. Recently locations well within movement range of some units will not respond when clicked on even though the unit will move to a spot beyond it. Its like some locations on the map just become dead and units will not move into them.

So I uninstalled the game and re installed it to a new drive (never C drive) with the 255 full version. Nothing changed. I then downloaded the 260 patch(?) and extracted it to the game folder. No change. There are a few points on some of the maps that if one cant change the viewing angle it is a real struggle to view and select units to move.

Is there a fix for this?

Vista 64bit 6 gigs of RAM, 295 GTX Nvidia card with 2 gigs ram, 10,000 rpm HD, all drivers and OS updated.

Ahhhhhhhhh, dont remember ever doing it that way in the past. That brain cell must have quietly passed away during the night. Used to work when I held down both mouse buttons. Thanks!
