OK, we've created the new man2.exe file for you which is likely to fix this problem. Those who'd like to test and get us feedback may download the archive from:
http://www.massiveassaultnetwork.com/do ... .0.207.rar

Please replace the original man2.exe with the new one and try playing the game. We hope you get it fixed with new version.

P.S. I recommend that you save old man2.exe in the separate folder, just in case you don't like the new file.

You need an unpacker for this rar archive. I recommend the freeware 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org/).

Hi Nick, I tried the new version 2.0207 exe you have and I am sorry to say that the results were as follows: No yellow patches appeared during the turn but after about 15 min. I was kicked to my desktop with the windows error message that said "man2 has encountered a problem and had to be closed" I will create a bug log and send it to artmax.

I've tried the patch to the patch. I still got the 'yellow box' of death.

Tried .207. It crashed after about 30 mins. Don't know if it fixed the yellow boxes, they usually take bit longer to appear. Reverted to .205

Tried the 2.07 for the 2nd time. Was able to complete one short move, look at a few other moves and then spend about 20 min making a move in a large map game. I did not have any yellow rectangles but I was unable to finish the longer move because i was kicked to the desktop again with the same windows error message about having to close man2. This was the same thing that happened the first time i tried 2.07. Looks like i will either have to keep trying 2.05 or go back to 1.97

I think I didn't load 2.07 correct the first time, so I tried it again. No yellow box this time, but several games now have crashed after about 15 to 30 minutes. I think this is a common problem not limited to the few of us who have commented on it.

I also donw loaded 2.07 now i can't even load the game. It would be nice at some point to get it right this patch after patch is starting to get old. Every time there is a new "patch" i have problems.

Check the message in game for 208b - it fixes crashes and yellow boxes.
For those who missed the massage, the link is:

For those of you that are wondering if you should "patch" i want to let you know that this patch does fix the problems with the yellow rectangles and the crashing to your desktop. It also changes the ranging circles back to red and the bombers are now ranged as well.

And, ahem, it does another thing also...? I am not able to find the "fast access" menu anymore, thus I have to go through the regular stuff to log on. Is it just me, should I get some eyeglasses?

That is where you can choose to access personal career upon starting the game instead of going through the menu.
