I managed to put togeather a small Single Player Expansion Pack (So to Speak) that includes 2 new scenarios that are the starting point of a 15 scenario series.

Installation is simple. Just unzip the files into the /scenarios/ directory of the game. Then look for the new scenarios names in the game list.

If you wish to play the missions in order they are as follows.

1) Fraction Battles
2) A Great Struggle

To download this expansion pack I've posted it up on geocities at the following link.

<a href="http://aodnet.net/ma/FractionWars_Pack1.zip">Click Here</a>

If you find any bugs or have any comments conact me not the dev team.

Anyone that gives these missions a try if you could post here and tell me what you think. (If there too easy or two hard, ect.)

It will help me decide on the rest of the missions if they need to be harder or easier.

I'll have to replay them one more time. Right before I posted them I increased the AI Funding just alittle to accomadate them not being able to keep up with there destruction that I was causeing on them.
(Also someone else suggested I increase it abit)

I used a old tactic of blocking the boarder with "cannon fodder" and then had some launchers in the back that contuned to hammer away at the enemy from a distance. As my cannon fodder was destoryed I contuned to replace it up tell the money started comeing in.

Started by destoryed the enemy on the west side and then working my way over on the right side. (The East side has to be the hardest by far).

If enough people thank its too hard Ill make it a little easier.

No need  won on turn 13-14 on the first try - here is the tactics:
Great Struggle:
first purchase: all the money to the upper border, NO units on the left
upper=desert, lower = forest;

upper: 5 LAVs, 3 Mortars, 2 Rocket Lauchers

next turn : invade, recruite at the upper - destroy more cost/hp units, buy 1 Rocket Laucher at the upper border

next turn: continue invasion - continue to buy Mortar + 2 LAVs/turn at the upper untill the lower one get's to your border then feed 4LAVs/turn at that border (you may allow 1 scout to invade your territory to get gurellia).

when you have 3 revenue turns left you'd get imdemity from the upper - then it's decided.

Well there not really new "maps" as in new terrain and stuff but there new scenarios on the maps.

If Vic or another Dev Team Member says its ok then I would be more then glad to post how its down and provide some tutorials and examples for people to work off of.

Heck you guys could probly even help me figure out a few things (like how the unit pre-start placement system is work. I cant for the love of god figure out there numbering system :/ )

Numberring: 1 number is row number, the other is cell number in that row (it can be either odd or even for a row). You can view ma.log to get the coordinates of some cells

AI is dumb enough to deploy 3-4 hexes away from border... a small correction to the AI and it would become much harder.

great expansion
i won the first two mission (great struggle and the first one, forgot the name)
to win great struggle
just block the upper enemy that he cant invade your country
rush into the left.
maybe you can move into the upper territory with one unit to make him use his guerillas.
now rush into the lower one,
use tanks and bots and maybe rocket launcher.
and fill out your death with cannon fodder.
if you defeated the lower one you can't lose

I won the first 2 scenarios the first time I played them. Haven't had time to try the other ones yet. in A Great Struggle I just held off the north and invaded the west, and all revenue turns were spent. I won because of the indemnation of both of their territories  while they didn't capture my territory.

Glad to see people loveing the missions. It's good to get feedback and peoples ideas. It keeps me up late at night working on new strategys to trick you guys with. Though it only takes about 10 to 20 mins to make a mission it usely takes me 5 or 6 hours to fine tune it by playing it 10 to 15 times  If theres anyone that is addicted it has to be me else wise I dont think I could play the same mission 10 times trying different things.

I havent got any word from the Dev Team about releaseing the Modding Info I have but since they havent said no eather I'll start work on a Tutorial / How To put togeather your own missions. (I'll release it once my 15 Mission Expansion is over :> )

Any ideas and suggestions for a mission are welcome.
