I downloaded Crateus on 4/29. The end of April. I'll give the benefit of the doubt and say this was the May map.

I downloaded Twin Islands on 7/1. Since, at the latest, Crateus was the May map, then Twin Islands must be the June map.

We're now well into August. Where is the July map? If I have missed a post or a website blurb someone please let me know. Otherwise I repeat, where is the July map?

I understand you have dedicated resources to PR, but this is not an excuse to abandon support of MAN. I know meeting deadlines and fulfilling commitments can be tough, but it also builds character and engenders respect. Just the opposite is of course true when commitments are not fulfilled.

I will repeat here what I have said many times before... I think you have created the most satisfying strategy game ever made(my opinion of course). It is my favorite all time game and I thank you much for that. This does not nullify my previous statements however.

I quote quitch(say that 3 times fast...), a word from the developers just saying something like the map is on the way would go a long way with your customers. I know that's a paraphrase but I was just dying to say 'quote quitch.'

So I ask, where is the July map?

Thanks.. love the game,
Brashen

P.S. If you need to move the new map release schedule to a 60 or 90 day plan, just say so. The hardest part is simply not knowing.

Wow, somebody's in a lousy mood today.

I think Butterfly is great. It's fast-paced and, more importantly, fun. Even when you're getting whipped it's a lot of fun. And really, isn't fun the whole reason for playing a game?

Very interesting, how many battles you played and with what results.

If you are new subscriber, you don't need new maps at all, because you haven't played on all old maps yet. I think that developers can present new map once in 2 months. One month is too short period to be tired with playing on new map.

Well, I'd say it's definetly good we got a new map, but the map itself is far from the best one. In the most of positions for FNU you dont have a slightest chance if you play with good opponent. (I played 3 games so far, all FNU, one won, one lost, one in progress). Even Bizzaria is way better - if you place your units right you have decent chances there.

No way, Biz is too open, you can't get reinforcements where they are needed in a timely manner. Having no chance with FNU against a good opponent applies to all the small maps anyway.

Here is one of my Bizzaria FNU games. I had two allies invaded right away and still won it. I think something like this will be hardly doable on new map, it's way too fast, if you started to loose, it's done by turn 4.

I don't like butterfly. I have played two games, both as PL, and it definately was not fair to my FNU opponent. Fast games are great, but this one just exposes the unbalanced first turn disclosure and movement of this game.

The new map is so open that a first-turn counterattack is a viable option for FNU...if FNU loses production in 2 countries the first turn, they can usually ensure that the same happens to PL. From there, it's just a brawl to see who comes out the other side.

Maybe then it is just because I have had better placement. There is one difference on this map, you can't play FNU defensive, you have to go on the attack from the start or you will be choked out very quickly.
