 Post subject: chat font colors are poor, etc.

I can hardly read the clashing magenta, in or out of the game. plus the font could use a drop shadow or some edging to make it more legible.

There are a number of color options and outlining needed - the unit dots can be hard to read, the circles hard to see.

Unless you're playing on some fat 21" developer screen the game can get hard on the eyes pretty quick...

type /color rrggbb (with r-g-b being hex values from 0-f) ffffff=white 000000=black and find a colour u like. Annoying thing is it doens;t remember you changing it so next time you log in you'll have todo it again.

Note if it doens;t work try \color can't remember right now which is correct.

Its \color rrggbb. As for the unit dots, change that to numbers in the graphics settings.

I highly recommend this, even aside from visibility issues it's far simpler to process visually, especially when contemplating a large group of units at once.

Changing to numbers also helps prevent overkills.

i always use dots
used to them and think them look better
not much difference though
and overkills are prevented by thinking not viewing style :lol:
