Anybody here ever visit the Domination game site at www.domination-game.com and looked at the "units" menu? The design of the units there is AMAZING! Why couldn't they make the units look like that in the game too?

Those are hi-poly models of units created specially for artworks. If to put them in game, it will run very slow even on the fastest PCs. So all you'd be doing most of the time is just watching units moving and waiting for the map to scroll, instead of playing the game.

Regards,
Nick.

Could it have been possible to have no animation and such graphics? (just a question, rather see Domination 3 come to shelves than see better graphic in D2)

I dunno which I would prefer between animations or nice graphics, but maybe a player could have try both options?

Please refer to the latest post by Artmax in this thread: http://massiveassault.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=21457 for the solution how to turn off animations in Domination.

This will speed up gameplay experience on slower computers.

Regards,
Nick.

P.S. It always much easier to turn off animations then to design and insert it in game.
