Not me. I can do up the enemy army pretty easy, but those turrets and the guerilla units are tough to deal with using just the leftovers of the battle.

My theory is that if you have $3 leftover after the major battle, you can buy a plane, and then use a cannon-fodder unit to stir up the guerillas. You would have to lure them away from the turrets, then kill/bomb the guerillas into oblivion. After that, maybe try to sneak a tank or land transport into the enemy capital and use it as a base for your bomber to take out the turrets.

I haven't tried this out yet, so maybe it works or maybe it doesn't.

Wow. It almost took 40 turns. :o

And that's listed as a medium length scenario.

Whoever came up with that scenario is a sadist. :D

this scenario's not too hard ~

i had enough money left after killing the invasion force to get a carrier and 2 planes ~
4 tanks and a mortar also took care of the guerilla's no worries

Were the scenarios made harder during one of the patches? I notice in Sky Keeper's replay that the FNU army consists of 5 Bio T's, 1 Scorcher and 2 Ostriches (same for me when I play it now.) But in Artanis' replay the 2 Ostriches aren't there.

It depends what difficulty they played on. Artanis may have used a lower difficulty without knowing it, like the time I played four of them on Easy before I noticed :)

Here's a variant (on hard) using two missile launchers. Could have been executed better toward the end, as I missed a transport opportunity. The idea seems sound though.

maybe it is a bit late, but here is a 20 turns solution(hard difficulty)

yeah, it is really a medium-duration scenario

File comment: can save 4-5$ but that would take 2 more turns (and one dead missile launcher)
