Hello, i signed up and was acepted into the Beta Test for MAN. I read the website description and i'm wondering, what exactly are the differences between MAN and MA besides the fancy new artwork for the planets? I'm wondering because it appears to be the same game except for a chat box. And by the way, i made my MAN account have the exact same properties as my MA accout and now when i log into my MAN account it shows my MA games... Does that mean i can play MA from MAN and MAN from MA?

Are you sure that's the right post? Doesn't really explain much

Well, to cut a long story short, let formulate it like this:

Yes, you may play your MA games using MAN. And actually, that' swhat we suggest to do:

Install MAN and both patches and the maps. Then use "RESTORE PROFILE" option to restore your old MA profile - and yo may use MAN for playing. No need to swithch back to MA for multiplayer games.

As far as I can tell, the main differences are:

-Spiffy new textures
-Chat feature
-Game seeking feature

Am I missing anything?

It depends of what do you mean by "main difference". The short summary of all differences is more than 2 sheets A4/Letter. In any way the company main goal is not to impose MAN for MA players. It is up to you - play MAN or MA.

Only about 1/3 of my games show up in MAN compared to MA.

It's quite scary. To the best of my knowledge both are fully patched.

If you guys load up 'Alloca' in MA and look at the listings in playing/played/waiting and then do the same in MAN, it's drastically different.

Is this by design?

MAN shows all the games, including those, which are finished.
MA does not sho the finished games after you restore your profile.

Seriously.

I have no doubt that's what is supposed to happen. At the moment, in classic MA - my machine shows 0 current turns, 10 waiting turns and 6 finished games.

On MAN, however, which I have installed on two different machines - they show 0 current, 5 waiting for turns, and 1 finished game.

However, the total win/loss summary is correct.
