Hi, from Spain

I´d like to know if someone of the MAN2 community have interest in the study of the initial structure of countrys when a game start. I am a chess player and in that game we have "positions" at the board that experienced players can identify like "winner positions". The structure of pawns, the position of the respective Kings, etc....... forms a structure.

In MAN2 exists something like in the chess??

I think firmly that the answer is YES, but i have not yet done any serious study.....

Obviously the size of the map is the principal variable, in my understanding, for the difficulty in achieve the objective.

I hope that this topic can to be interesting for the more "strategic´s hearts" players.......... :D

Thanks.....

Tese

Well the distrubution of countries, is random but the fact what wins games is the ablity to postion units on critical areas of territory to deny the enemy the ablity to recapture the territory and to win through attricion, through extra revenue I 've had a horrible game on new paradise where my large country was surrounded by 3 secrect enemy allies 1 large 1 small and one medium, and that was on very low distrubution
