I got a good friend of mine to play Massive Assault Network. He and I went through the training missions and played the single player World War. It was/is our first game online and we were playing against each other. Without the pressure of making quick (usually poorer) judgements due to its turn based play, I was able to move around my troops in just such a way that I reclaimed my base while it was under a heavy attack. The amount of trial and error that went into moving my troops in the specific order to accomplish the task, was simply beautiful. It was if I played a really amazing move in a chess game.

This is why I've now started to love turn-based stratedy games. With the lack of stress and quick moves, you can pull off amazing things in turn-based games. Massive Assault Network shows that quality.

Not to mention it lets you take breaks to eat, drink, and live between turns!

A masterpiece!

P.S. Just as I brought my friends to the game of M.A.N., I recommend whoever is reading this, to do the same. The more players playing M.A.N., the higher quality the game gets. More people is always a good thing in online games! Recommend a friend!

This is exactly why I love the game so much. I went 2-5 in WC3:TFT before quitting the ladder out of frustration, but with MA giving me time to work and do my thing, I've made it up to 22nd in rank 8)

GOD I love this game.

Likewise! This game deserves much more attention/popularity than its getting, so I've been mentioning it to everyone I know. :)

I'm buying myself and a friend a subscription to this game.

Good times ahead!

Too bad we can't get all the players to be this enthusiastic about the game. Come on guys! Spread the word! We should go door to door preaching about MAN.

Well I'm writing a review for this game for the site I work for (www.thunderboltgames.com) I like it a lot, I just have to get better because I'm awful at the moment, and writing about something is hard when you're awful at it.
