First I want you to take a look at attached picture - it displays MAN page with 4! games with participants ONLY from sweden finished simultaneously(if I`m not mistaking the flag) .Next - 3 of them are his wins...2 of them over the same player.Next - go to his record - He is a major with 1 loss...now the question is - is he real major or....?I`m not so sure and want to hear your thoughts.

Actually I`d appreciate him saying something,I`d be glad to be wrong.

Those players are all friends of mine, the reason I won so many games in a row is that the time had expired, so I ended them. Btw only three of those games are mine, and those are norwegian flags.

I hope that explains it

Welcome to the game. :)
It's always a good thing to bring a friend to play. The more players the better for everyone.

No problem, I've seen worse cases tho. There was one guy who had defeated another guy ten times in a row. Not much one can do about it tho, this game is open for such exploits. :-?

This problem is basically apparent only with Trial accounts... It's easy to create multiple free profiles to boost one. Maybe Trial accounts shouldn't count for official scoring?

I doubt too many poeple would exploit the system if they had to pay for each account, and in the cases people do, it will be quite obvious.

And yes, having access to all results for the Glicko ratings, I can see cases where people quite obviously have exploited the system ;) We're watching you.... :o

could be another sales pitch, "fed up with meaningless battles? Get the full version and watch yourself progress thru the ranks taking on tougher and tougher opponents on your way to becoming a marshall!"

Boy i'm good.

But yea making ranks full version only would prevent this exploit.[/b]

That is why I love the glicko ratings; you would need to beat yourself endlessly to move up. Neither effective nor fun. Ratings are only there for fun and to gauge your opponents strength. With no benefit of exploiting the ratings, who cares anyway.
