I read about this game from the Avault review. Kudos to them. I am patiently waiting for it to hit the stores *sigh* I hate waiting. I see there is a demo on a UK mag....... anyhoo.
I don't know if there are any oldtime gamers here however from the vids and the way some of the previews read it sounded like an enhanced cross between Battle Isle (Amiga game) and Robosport (Amiga). All in a good way as me and my friends use to play the heck out of those games. Would this be a correct assumption?
Since no demo avail on the net yet *hint*hint* :D I can only go by the vids and previews/review.

It's like a graphically enhanced, yet simplified Battle Isle.
For example, there are no repair and supply features. Terrain only affects movement, not range or line of sight. There is no fog of war - what adds moments of surprise is the innovative ally disclosure, though. Also flank or pronge meneuvers don't add damage or bind enemy forces to hinder movement. It's more like chess concerning that point.

Nevertheless the game is challenging and interesting to play.

Thanks,
Guess I need to wait for a demo to get the full effect.

It's easy to get into. Easy to play. Hard to win.
