What kind of 2nd clan war map do u want?
Same as current 1 0%  0%  [ 0 ]
Same style as current 1 but different system layouts etc 45%  45%  [ 5 ]
Each clan has their own map with worm holes linking all of maps together 27%  27%  [ 3 ]
A ring map with clans that are apart linked by wormholes 9%  9%  [ 1 ]
A double ring map with 2 clan areas linked by a wormhole 9%  9%  [ 1 ]
map based on taking individual planets to progress not systems (jump lane idea) 9%  9%  [ 1 ]
other (plz post what) 0%  0%  [ 0 ]

I've voted for option 2 - but I think system attacks which were suggested by someone at some point are a good idea (rather than planet attacks)

Whatever system is used, it seems important to me that every clan be able to reach every other, or at least be able to get to each other without having to beat entire clans to do it. No point in having a clan war if half the clans never meet.

Is there a way to change my vote? My double-ring idea was to counter the primary specific downside to option 3 (harder to see the "big picture"), but if people don't seem to mind that downside (especially if the map is drawn in such a way as to minimize that problem), then there's no reason to have to deal with the inadequacies of the double ring.

I still don't see why every clan needs to touch every other one. If we have 7 clans and effectively 6 fronts for each clan, politics will win the day, not prowess in the game or good teamwork. A clan that is both weak in making deals and weak in playing will die a horrible death if every clan met every other clan. That would probably include any new clan that is added, as they don't have skills or experience with the way the clan politics work. It seems so much better to me that new clans start with only a couple fronts, so they can learn the game.

I can see how wormholes could be useful if linked with something similar to the current system, because yes, you can attack other clans not nearby, but through a very narrow point.

I didn't say they needed to touch each other, simply that I would like clan A to be able to get to clan C without having to topple the capital of can C.

If we're not going to let all the clans have a go at one another, why bother having one war with all the clans in it? Better to have several mini wars.

Because the politics of it all are fun :)

Knowing that your clan can't handle 3 full fronts at the same time encourages interesting levels if intrigue...
