F.N.U. (metallic units) is heroically holding an important strategic island. Phantom League has far more troops on the neighboring islands, and they use Turtles (Naval Transports) for transferring Bio-T’s (Tanks) to the island. The fact that the enemy Bio-T’s are on the territory blocks F.N.U.’s revenue collection and F.N.U. cannot recruit more troops on this island. So, the only ground troops they have are these: three LAV’s backed up with two Rocket Launchers. Those enemy Bio-T’s (four already landed plus a couple more still in the Turtles) would approach and destroy such inadequately week defending line in just a couple of turns in open terrain. BUT this side of the island is DESERT terrain, which slows the fast-moving units down. That’s why Bio-T’s can move only one area thus losing their speed advantage - and the Rocket Launchers can shoot them down easily before they even approach the line of LAV’s. Luckily for F.N.U. defenders, two of four island's sides are impassible cliffs.

Phantom League’s fleet is trying to clear the water route to the back side of the island, but the strait is guarded by a couple of F.N.U.’s ships plus the Bombers are providing prompt fire support from the city. Unfortunately for Phantom League, their Turtles cannot use the other water route, because the second strait is too narrow and it is entirely within the Bomber’s range, so they will be sunk before they reach the back side of the island.
