Water - Ground - Water Perimeter

This is a part of World War on Wasserland planet. The whole planet consists of numerous small and medium islands with lots of seas in between. The F.N.U. (metallic units) is trying to hold a high-economy island. Its fleet is split into two parts: tree Battleships on the left flank are holding the strait and three Battleships are covering the lagoon. The narrow isthmus between the lagoon and the isthmus is effectively defended by a standard LAV + Mortars formation. Thus these three parts (right flank fleet, ground forces on the isthmus, and the lagoon squadron) constitute continuous defense perimeter. They cover each other’s flanks, while the most right and the most left flanks reside on the safe shore inaccessible for the enemy ground units. Plus, each of three parts can if necessary support the neighbors (i.e. Mortars can finish the enemy Destroyer with 2 remaining lives, and sometimes it makes sense to use Battleship for finishing enemy Ostrich on the ground). Plus, the F.N.U. has a couple of Bombers in the city, which really helps a lot.

It is obvious that the Phantom League’s ground forces will never make their way through the isthmus. Thus it has nothing to do but keep press hard on both sea directions, trying to break at least one of them - most probably the F.N.U.’s left flank, and then move the Turtle (Naval Transport) with ground units and descent them towards the city - and when the city is captured (the Bombers will be destroyed), they will strike into the isthmus defender’s rear.

However, there is a bad piece of news on Phantom League’s right flank - a squadron of F.N.U.’s Destroyers has finally arrived from a distant base (it was a long trip, but it was worth it), and the Phantom League’s right-flank fleet will be pushed back, if not destroyed completely. Anyway, the situation is unclear - the victory in this battle depends on whether Phantom League manages to break through the strait and conduct that landing operation fast enough.
