The Mountain Fortress

The F.N.U. general has placed his light and heavy artillery on a plateau, which he thinks to be
unassailable, because there is only one narrow pass to access it, and it’s well covered by a couple of
LAV’s plus the fact that Rocket Launchers always ready to re-direct their and help.
His Mortars cover all approaches to the mountains and combined with the Rocket Launchers’ fire they
can successfully check the approach from any side. There is only a narrow stripe of land
around the plateau, unsuitable for effective maneuvering and the League does not have any
long-range battle vessels around this island.
However, it seems that the Phantom League’s commander will manage to take this stronghold. He
patiently wait when all his forces arrive, and then launched a SIMULTANEOUS assault form
3 directions. Yes, the advancing troops are being substantially damaged and some of them will be destroyed -
but they are deployed almost along the whole perimeter leaves no safe place for the defenders’ artillery
so that the F.N.U.’s Mortars and Rocket Launchers have no place to hide, and the defenders’ backfire cannot
be concentrated effectively.
