Mere Naval Outflanking

It’s quite standard situation: F.N.U. is conducting routine Tank assault on Phantom League’s defense line comprised of Smallfoots and Mortars in the second rank. Well, F.N.U. in addition has two Rocket Launchers, which help a lot. However, the Phantom League also haD a couple of Annihilators (similar to Rocket Launchers) backing up the defense lines with long-range fire. Plus, the Phantom Leagues was controlling the territory of its Ally, allowing to recruit new cannon fodder each turn. All that would lead to very slow F.N.U.’s progress.

However, F.N.U. was lucky to have a couple of spare Naval Transports with Heavy Bots loaded - they have just arrived from another region. Nothing frightens Annihilators more than Heavy Bots on Transports - they unloaded in the rear and destroyed ALL helpless Annihilators literally in a single blow - you can see the flames on the left - no more Annihilators. Plus, the Heavy Bots’ presence on the Phantom League country’s territory blocks the revenue collection - and the forthcoming Guerrillas are too few to kick out 3 Heavy Bots. Thus the Phanotm Leagues’ defense will totally collapse in a couple of turns - the country will be occupied and Indemnity paid.
