Naval Supply Route

F.N.U. has previously conducted unexpected landing operation across the channel and repidly conquered a neutral
country (green town in the middle). Phantom League had a large country right next to the conquered one, but
its huge army was engaged for a while on the other front (not visible here). Finally that Phantom League’s army
returned with strong intentions to re-capture the neutral country guarded by less numerous forces, but there are
two factors playing on F.N.U.’s side:
- that huge ridge separating the two countries and leaving only relatively narrow stripe of
open border, which decreases the effectiveness of the Phantom League’s offensive (both sides are using various
types of artillery units to fire at each other over the ridge)
- In spite of the local Phantom League’s superiority in units and revenue resources available each turn,
F.N.U. is constantly getting fresh troops being transferred by a couple of Naval Transports from
their "over-channel" base country. Then those troops, which as slow, are carried to the front by a Land Transport.
Phantom League has realized that too late: their two Firestorms (aiming to move into the channel and cut
this naval supply route) have been matched by two F.N.U.’s two Battleships blocking the entrance to
the channel. It’s gonna be quite lengthy naval skirmish (now the Firestorms are firing with "arks of fire")
with both sides recruiting additional naval fighting vehicles, but the F.N.U.’s Naval Transports will
keep bringing fresh troops across the channel undisturbed.
